Scoliosis and Deformity
Scoliosis is an abnormal twisting of the spine to the side. Kyphosis occurs when the spine curves too much to the front, and kyphoscoliosis is a combination of both conditions. Spine deformities are not only a cosmetic problem.
They may cause ongoing back pain, problems with balance and nerve symptoms. Nerve symptoms could include weakness of the arms and legs, or bowel and bladder problems.
